As an Ecological Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you'll help to expand client services, manage projects, and mentor a project team while helping our wide variety of clients to comply with the federal Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act, and related state regulations.

CEC's Ecological Practice is an essential part of the integrated services offering to our clients. CEC's Ecological Practice distinguishes itself from the service offerings of other firms because of the breadth of our technical expertise that includes: wetland and stream assessments, delineations, and permitting; endangered species surveys including bats and plants; and ecosystem restoration. The employees of the practice group work cooperatively across all CEC offices to bring the necessary ecological expertise to our clients' specific project needs. CEC ecologists are on the same management career path as the rest of the professionals across our footprint, making it an exciting place to grow a career as an ecologist!

Qualifications

  • Experience preparing state and federal permits for stream and wetland encroachments;
  • Ability to provide technical expertise and mentoring to staff in the ecological practice;
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, technical professionals, and a targeted client base; and
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing and leading wetland and stream delineations.
