If so, DEA's Portland, OR office is looking for a Project Manager to manage and deliver projects, mentor staff, review projects for quality, and participate in Business Development activities for our Oregon Transportation group.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
  • Ensure excellence in project execution for on-time, on-budget deliverables of quality that meet or exceed the industry's standard of care.
  • Serve as a pursuit champion and provide support for effective business development and project delivery.
  • Partner with appropriate Business Unit staff to support employee development and career growth opportunities for project delivery staff.
  • Provide design leadership and guidance to staff.
  • Attend DEA staff meetings and participate in training activities
  • Review engineering documents and deliverables for compliance with contractual requirements as part of DEA's Quality Management requirements
  • Adhere to firmwide tools, processes, and policies including project accounting (set up, budgeting, etc.), contracting, and quality requirements.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years as Project Manager on local agency or Department of Transportation projects
  • 10+ years of applicable transportation design work
  • Professional Engineer in Oregon
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team-oriented environment
