DEA's Corporate Finance team is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead our Accounts Payable team in Portland, OR. This role will be a key player in managing the daily operations of the accounts payable group, which includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Full cycle accounts payable duties in a team setting
  • Perform and manage vendor maintenance including invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and filing
  • Process and manage employee expense reports for payment, including auditing for adherence to company policies
  • Heavy Data entry
  • Lead the A/P month end close and year end close and appropriate regulatory filings
  • Supervise A/P staff which includes approving timecards and vacation requests, annual performance reviews, hiring new staff, and mentoring/retaining the A/P team
  • Reconcile various accounts by identifying errors or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards
  • Prepare, review, and analyze AP Aging and other AP reports
  • Work to improve processes within assigned accounting functions


Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of accounts payable experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing staff
  • Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills and 10-key skills


Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics SL Accounting System
  • Concur Expense and Concur Invoice or other Automated AP invoice and expense software
  • Experience working in the A/E/C industry
