Your Impact at SAM

  • Management and oversight of ongoing payables, per diem, and travel related cycles to include proper recording, timely payment, and regular reconciliations
  • Ownership and maintenance of, and enhancements to, the Company Vendor Management process and purchase order system
  • Coordination with Treasury with respect to upcoming payment obligations and disbursement forecasts
  • Assist with monthly and annual closing processes to include proper and accurate reconciliations of accounts, supporting documentation, and status reporting
  • Act as point of contact for issue resolution related to external vendors and employee per diem discrepancies
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals
  • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of employees to include mentoring, coaching, and counseling staff as needed

What You Bring to SAM

  • Minimum 5 years managing full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounting process and team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and build business partnerships with corporate departments
  • Experience with SAP Concur Travel & Expense is a plus
  • Strong proficiency with Excel is a must
  • Highly organized and be able to prioritize
  • High level of accuracy and be detail-oriented
