Your Impact at SAM

  • Accomplish the daily processing of data utilizing the SAM standards, including the evaluation of accuracy and sufficiency, all while ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry principles through close and regular supervision of manager
  • Coordinate with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met
  • Execute routine tasks and activities to support projects
  • Present quality control assistance of client-specific deliverables
  • Provide support for the staff as needed
  • Carry out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
  • Request records from utility companies
  • Assist with field operation tasks, occasionally
  • Experience processing survey data
  • Reviewing utility records in detail and determining discrepancies between field findings
  • Perform other tasks as necessary to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals
  • Review and analyze field sketches submitted for projects

What You Bring to SAM

  • Little to no experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Strong computer and technical skills; Auto CAD, MicroStation, or similar application is a plus
  • Solid work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a "team-player" attitude
  • Great listening, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience or knowledge of Subsurface Utility Engineering and/or survey data processing is preferred
  • Engineer-In-Training license and/or ability to obtain within first 6 months strongly perferred
