Job Description

As a Civil Engineering Co-op or Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Cincinnati office, you will perform civil engineering tasks supporting project teams to create land development plans and calculations to assist our clients with their commercial, institutional, or residential needs. You'll have the opportunity to work across various disciplines (both inside and outside of the office) including Civil/Site, Geotechnical, Environmental, and Surveying. Local candidates preferred.

Successful Co-op/Intern candidates will possess strong analytical and communications skills, ability to think critically and creatively, and show initiative to evaluate data, perform calculations, collaborate with their team, learn municipal regulations, and broaden understand of civil engineering principles. This Co-op/Intern is intended to be a hands-on and immersive experience, as you will be integrated into a team of engineers and will contribute in the completion of project deliverables for our clients.


  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program;
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
