Your Impact at SAM

The Contract Manager will serve as the liaison and main facilitator between the company, project managers, business development personnel and clients for matters including negotiations, recommendations, record keeping, monitoring and change management. This is also in relation to professional services prime and subcontract opportunities of SAM.
  • Prepare and/or review contracts
  • Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners
  • Review and update existing contracts
  • Manage professional fee increases per contract terms
  • Explain terms and conditions to internal parties
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
  • Coordinate with legal department as needed
  • Create and maintain Contract Lifecycle Management Platform
  • Coordinate with business leaders as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals

What You Bring to SAM

  • Experience in or understanding of the AEC industry
  • Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or relevant role
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience, both in practice and theory, of the key concepts and legal provisions of contracts
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Keen attention to detail, with ability to spot errors
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including executives, staff, managers and external partners/clients
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
