Your Impact at SAM

We're seeking a dynamic Corporate Recruiter to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's future. As a Corporate Recruiter, you'll be instrumental in attracting top-tier talent, building dynamic teams, and strategically aligning recruitment efforts with our organizational objectives.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment, from needs assessment to new employee onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand business needs and growth strategies
  • Implement strategic initiatives outlined by the Talent Acquisition Manager to attract top candidates
  • Utilize various platforms, including LinkedIn and social media, to create a robust pipeline of candidates and foster long-term relationships
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, exercising autonomous judgment in proposing qualified candidates
  • Negotiate compensation packages and navigate potential obstacles during the offer stage
  • Evaluate existing talent acquisition processes and recommend improvements for greater efficiency
  • Assist in Early Talent Management programs, including high school and college recruitment initiatives
  • Coordinate interviews and handle logistical arrangements for candidates in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members as requested by the Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting our company to potential candidates at professional conferences, career fairs, and university presentations
  • Perform other tasks assigned to contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic goals

What You Bring to SAM

  • Bachelor degree strongly preferred or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high volume, recruiting environment, preferably in the A/E/C industry
  • Working experience with Applicant Tracking System, ICIMS preferred
  • Must have demonstrated PC excellence, including working knowledge of, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and online meeting platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to quickly adjust goals and expectations due to project deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly fluid environment
