Job Description
This position is responsible for using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D software to draft civil engineering construction plans and plats for Design Management and Construction (DCM) section and Stormwater Engineering section. To reduce survey field data used in drafting civil engineering construction plans, plats and exhibits for presentation. To edit Civil3D drawings to include civil engineering design additions, plan and profile views and cross sections. To show proposed improvements to existing field conditions.
 
Job Requirements
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL:
Requires an associate's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience in civil engineering or survey drafting using computer aided drafting and design software.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/education requirements, this position requires a minimum of one year of related, full-time equivalent experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.

Experience within civil engineering field with Autodesk Civil 3D software is preferred. Autodesk AutoCad certificate preferred.
