Job Description
Overview

At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), every member of our team has a personal stake in ensuring the success of our clients. As employee-owners of the firm, we are all personally accountable for building lasting relationships and delivering outstanding results. We put people first, whether that's our clients, our employees, or our community. It's why we listen more and work harder to understand the unique needs of our clients. And it's why we prioritize the career development of every individual on our team. People are why we do this, and why we love what we do. We are at our best when we work together. That means bringing together a diverse team of talented, passionate, multidisciplinary experts to work closely alongside clients to create comprehensive solutions to complex problems. We believe that by working together, no problem is insurmountable.

As a CEC Landscape Architect, you will find yourself working as part of a collaborative design team consisting of engineers, ecologists, scientists, architects, and developers to create sustainable developments for our commercial, public, institutional, residential and energy clients. This position involves creating site layout, grading, landscape, utility, and sustainable stormwater management plans. You will have the opportunity to prepare high quality visual graphics that help our clients and the public visualize the project upon completion and highlight key project features. On any given day, you might interact with clients, contractors, or local government officials as part of the comprehensive development process. You will impact the entire project - from the conceptual design phase, through design development and regulatory approval, and during construction.
