Your Impact at SAM
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Manage entire lifecycle - responsible for all aspects of end user computer devices (desktops, laptops, phones\tablets) in the Company including: inventory, procurement, imaging/deployment, management, repairs and decommissioning etc.
Inventory - Oversee company IT inventory for all offices of in-use and spare computers and accessories
Procurement - Forecast computer needs based on company needs working with primary vendors on new device validation
Imaging/Deployment - System imaging, application packaging/deployment and driver updates
Management - Reporting, tracking, auditing, security patches, and group policy
Project Management - As directed, manage small IT projects from conceptual, cost analysis, architecture, approval, implementation and post production support phases
Leadership - Coordinates and plans all subordinates tasks and efforts. Conducts performance/skills assessments of subordinates per established procedures. Owner for IT Endpoint Team position hiring and coordination with HR Dept.
Mentoring - Instruct and develop IT Endpoint team staff
Professionalism - Conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and leadership manner while staying focused on business tasks
Supports the Company to achieve its vision and mission, while successfully practicing its core values related to employees, ethics, operational excellence, safety, integrity and corporate social responsibility.
Assist in creating and maintaining documentation and standards related to IT processes and procedures
Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of employees to include mentoring, coaching, and counseling staff as needed
What You Bring to SAM
5 to 7 years' experience working on in an IT team in a multi-office environment
Experience with the following technologies:
Imaging and inventory systems
Windows Desktop Operating System
Various other applications
Mobile Device Management
Printers, plotters, copiers and scanners
Projectors and other audio/video equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups
Professional with an example setting "Leadership & Customer Service" attitude
Motivated and results oriented with an ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment
Ability to balance multiple work streams concurrently and manage time efficiently. Document IT procedures and workflows while keeping them current
Certifications and/or Licensing Requirements
MCSA preferred
ITIL foundations certification required
Any other technology certifications a plus
