Job Description

As a Survey CAD Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll demonstrate excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process to assist a Licensed Surveyor or Survey Project Manager in the preparation of topographic survey maps, boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivision plans, and various exhibits and existing conditions base drawings. The majority of your time will be spent in the office, but occasional field work may occur.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete deliverables and project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule;
  • Self-perform product review for completeness and accuracy;
  • Complete technical work from start to finish with little to no supervision; and
  • Identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve.


  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software (version 2018 or later);
  • 5+ years of drafting experience;
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
