Job Description
Overview

As a Survey CAD Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll assist a Licensed Surveyor or Survey Project Manager to prepare topographic survey maps, boundary surveys, subdivision plans and plats, and various exhibits and existing conditions base drawing.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience with AutoCAD 2021 or later;
  • Proficient at reading plans and plats;
  • Proficient with descriptor coding, file upload and download;
  • An understanding of coordinate translation, rotation, and datum adjustment within AutoCAD;
  • Experience setting up drawings with Arizona State Plane coordinate system;
  • Experience with drafting associated with Boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, Records of Surveys, and Civil Design surveys;
  • Punctuality and reliability;
  • An understanding of the principles and mathematics of surveying;
  • College level survey courses, professional courses, technical courses, self-study a plus;
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.
