Also referred to as bathymetric surveying, hydrographic surveying is the art and science of underwater mapping. Work is performed with high-resolution sonar equipment deployed from specialized survey vessels.

Underwater inspections of structures like dams, dock walls, and utility crossings can be performed using several technologies, including ROV’s and high-resolution imaging sonar.

To look beneath the seabed, Seaworks performs geophysical investigations using a variety of sediment sampling equipment as well as marine magnetometers and sub-bottom profilers.

Headquartered in Michigan, we are located less than 90 minutes from Chicago, and our service area includes Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, St. Louis, Buffalo, Milwaukee, and Green Bay. We routinely work on all Great Lakes harbors, Mississippi River, and Ohio River systems, as well as the coastal waters of the Northeast. Our service area includes Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as other surrounding states.
